LOVE LETTER TO Senator Dino Melaye

From Irohinoodua, Yoruba first online news medium
We knew less about you until you became a Senator. You left one memory: You told a felow female Senator: I will impregnate you. We wont forget. This person is not in a position to put you in jail if she so desires. Can you see the irony of this world.
But you are a poor student of history. You dont read even though you buy books and hand them to dust away, just to give a false impression or pretence to intellectualism.
We are learning more about your character daily. Each time you are on fashin parade on the internet, all those praising you must have a reason.
When you are rich and WRONG, the beneficiaries of your wealth will never see your dark side.
I still wonder why all you share on the Internet is about your Wealth sourced from the sweat and labour of Nigerian masses.
What you are doing is to torment and humiliate many Nigerians. I have never seen you write any piece of intelligence, philosophy or motivation on career and human survival through decent means or motivate the young for values and honour.
Any society that has people like you as inspiration is doomed.
What makes the world great, Western, Asia and Middle East societies, is not the amount of fashion, or wealth on display, but ideas, deep thinking, critical reflection and the ability of statesmen to offer solutions to the travails of mankind.
Your generation runs a system that makes it difficult for you and me to travel by road, to sleep with eyes closed, to have access to water, to electricity and to good roads.
Your town has no good hospitals, while the primary schools in your town decay.
Elections is by violence. My cousin was actually killed in Ekinrinade during one of those sham elections of which you were a key actor.
Life is short and brutish as poverty holds men and women, armed and defenceless people alike, captive.
The country is ravaged by terror, kidnapping and rape of young and old women even pregnant women by terrorists.
While serious and conscientious politicians offer solutions, you rather invide us to behold your wardrobe to see your perfume and your suspicious wealth.
In moments if deaths and gnashing of teeth, all you do is to wake up every morning to tell us about your new car, your new branded shoes, your million naira worth perfume, your custoom, your fleet of cars, your hairdo, your palaces and mansions and your various frivolous trips abroad.
You are telling generations taht they need not work to make money. Such daily lectures produce desperate and reckless youths ready to be rich by all means possible including through ritual killing.
In your own state, hundreds have been killed by terrorists and communities overtaken by rage; Obas were kidnapped and even killed. Never did you offer condolences, not a visit, no compassion and neither conscience but the next day after the horror, you would come to the social media to share a new neck chain, a new bracelet, Italian made shoes and upholstery from Italy.
Senator Melaye, Ogam Dino, dont you have conscience at all? You went to school, but we cannot see the display of character in your education.
We search in vain for your humanity. We are only overwhelmed by your vanity..
People who can buy all your politically acquired wealth for a penny, like Dangote or Bill Gate are modest people who never slap the poor people with their health.
They use their wealth to transform the society and not to downgrade and humiliate the poor or to taunt them.
I pray for you to have wisdom. That is what is simply lacking here.
But be rest assured that though you and your arrogant and spineless generation own today, tomorrow belongs to the righteous and the generation of men and women of history and honour, who will push you aside from the state and seize their own future with both hands.
At that time, thank your God you will not even be able to aspire to be NURTW chairman at EkinrinAde.Thank you for giving us, every morning, enough reason to be angry and strife towards a system that would throw you into the dust bin of history. TODAY IS YOURS, OUR DAY SHALL COME
