A proud moment is on the horizon for Yoruba people of Nigeria as Chief Owolabi Salis, a renowned U.S-based lawyer, politician, and spiritual leader, prepares to make history as the first Nigerian to venture into space.

Salis, who is part of an esteemed group of astronauts converging for a camp training session, will embark on this extraordinary journey under the auspices of Blue Origin.

The launch is scheduled for June 21, and the astronauts are currently undergoing rigorous preparatory training in a desert camp to acclimate themselves to the unique experience of space exploration.

The training is designed to equip the astronauts with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the challenges of space travel.

Upon completion of their mission, the astronauts will leverage their experience to conduct research in their chosen areas of interest.

For Salis, who serves as the Spiritual Leader of Soul Makers Ministry Worldwide, spiritual research is a subject that sparks his curiosity.

He looks forward to exploring this area further during his time in space.

Blue Origin has officially code-named this edition of the space mission as NS-33.

In preparation for the launch, the organization has released a symbolic trademark patch for the mission.

The travel trajectory will be accessible to the public for online viewing, allowing everyone to witness this historic moment.

Salis’s achievement is set to inspire a new generation of Nigerians and space enthusiasts alike.
