Newsbreak: Babajide Otitoju to resume after minor autocrash

Renown journalist, Babajide Kolade Otitoju may resume this week after more than a week of absence following a lone autocrash.

Irohinoodua was informed by competent sources that Babajide, a famous voice in the celebrated Journalists’ Hangout programme had an accident while riding a motorbike in the Eko Atlantic City area of Lagos.

The TVC’s new office is located in the area.

“The incidence took place about two weeks ago leading to his admission in a private hospital,” the source which sought to remain anonymous said.

Our correspondent was informed that Babajide was driven to a private hospital where he was admitted.

“He did not have any fracture. He was lucky. But he spent many hours in the hospital before he was discharged” the source said adding that Doctors advised that he should rest before resumption.

Another official at the TVContinental where he works said “there is no cause for alarm. He is as fit as the fiddle. He is back on his feet, hail and hearty.”

The source said Babajide is expected to resume at TVC this week.

‘Our boss is in good shape. We are proud of him. He actually has been working eventhough his face has not been on the screen for some few days. He is expected to resume this week,’ one of his staff stated in a chat with Irohinoodua.
