Newsbreak: Former NLC President kidnapped in Kaduna

The Former Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, President, Takai Shamang, has been reportedly kidnapped.

According to reports gathered by Irohinodua, noted that the incident happened in his home town of Biniki, located in Kaura Local Government Area, Kaduna State, on Friday.

The 78-year old former President General of the National Union of Electricity and Gas Workers had also served as in the National Union of Electricity Employees between 1982 and 1989.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), who confirm the report through his daughter, Mrs Grace Abbin, said her father was abducted at his residence in Biniki, at about 8:00pm on Friday.

Shamang is the President and Founder of Gantys Aid for Widows, Orphans and Needy Foundation, popularly known as GAWON Foundation.
