The Russian Federation has given more insight into how the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro was abducted by the United States

The Russian ambassador to Caracas, Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov, revealed that scores of security officials aides the United States to kidnap the Venezuelan President and his wife.

He spoke on Russian state television, Russiya.

In an interview with Rossiya-24,
monitored by Irohinoodua, the diplomat said Russia is now aware of the names of Venezuelan security officials who worked for American Central Intelligence Agenacy, (CIA) to spie on Venezuela and ensure the kidnap of Maduro.

Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov
said the spies within facilitated the capture of the former dictator.

He said “We know the names of these traitors who fled Venezuela and systematically worked for the American intelligence services.”

Giving more insight, Melik-Bagdasarov, said the treachery did not start in the early hours of January 3, but a report of accumulated plans after months of plots and intrigues.

He revealed that the Venezuelan security forces simply failed in their duty to act.

He said interference had been detected by radar the previous night, but instead, the air defenses were never activated, and that the order to retaliate arrived at 4:00 a.m., when Maduro was already en route to New York.

He said “Many local law enforcement officers did not do everything in their power.”

He argued that the “traitors” are no longer in Venezuela having fled immediately after the operation, thus confirming the existence of the network of infiltrators that US intelligence services had been building for years within the Chavista regime.
