Newsbreak:Armed men invade Oyo State Immigration, cart away weapons

Heavily armed men have invaded the immigration office in Ogbomoso, Oyo State carting away assault weapons.
It is not clear if the invaders were connected with the upsurge in terrorist attacks in the South West.
Sources said tge gunmen attacked the Office in a night raid on Tuesday.
They attacked guards on duty before carting away many assault rifles.
Reliable sources told Irohinoodua that the attack took place around 10pm on Tuesday.
“The armed men came around 10pm. They scared everyone away. They attacked guards on duty before stealing operational weapons.”
The office is located at the immigration office located along the Ogbomoso–Ilorin Motorway, near the NNPC filling station.
Our correspondent was informed that the assailants stormed the facility even amidst the bubbling Ayanyan cattle market located near the office.
“They attacked and overpowered the guards. Every one ran for safety because their population was more than the guards on duty” an immigration official told Irohinoodua.
Terrorists are noted for invading vulnerable outposts to fortify their armoury. On Wednesday, th sister of former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu and her children were kidnapped by armed men that locals suspected may be an extention of the terrorist network that recently attacked Isiele Community school abduction 46 students and teachers none of who has been released. One of them, Micheal was beheaded by the terrorists.
An official of immigration who does not wish to be named said he was not sure if the attacks were carried out by terrorists or armed robbers
He however said the Immigration office had never experience such an attack since inception
